Wald/Roßbach, March 11, 2024 – ART MEETS FASHION: Exploring new paths unites the premium brand CAMBIO and Munich-based artist Marie Aigner. Just like the established fashion brand, Marie sets statements—creating international impulses. Confident, style-conscious, and consistently innovative.

In cooperation with CAMBIO, the RoPlastic Award–winning artist has designed two sustainable denim trousers, available exclusively from April 8, 2024, at Lodenfrey in Munich and in the CAMBIO online shop. The two limited-edition summer lightweight denims are GOTS-certified, made from organic cotton, and environmentally washed—making them fully sustainable.

Marie Aigner’s pursuit of innovative, future-oriented solutions, her willingness to break existing structures, and her creative play with form, color, and material captivated CAMBIO CEO David Gansbühler from the very beginning.

“Marie’s acoustic objects immediately drew me in. Her way of working and her vision align perfectly with our corporate values. I felt compelled to create a creative symbiosis and contacted Marie right away,” says CEO David Gansbühler.

The Munich-based artist has made it her mission to develop acoustic objects that make bold design statements while fulfilling a practical purpose, serving, among other things, as pieces of furniture. And that’s not all—the absorbers are made from recycled PET bottles, making them sustainable.

“The starting point of our collaboration was the Architecture Biennale 2023 in Venice, where we had the opportunity to support Marie,” David Gansbühler continues. “Under the motto ‘The Laboratory of the Future,’ art enthusiasts were able to admire the ‘Knock Out’ objects, the daybed ‘The Very Last Supper,’ and ‘Karlchen Kaktus.’ After our initial discussions, it was clear that we didn’t want to limit our involvement to artist support alone. We wanted to integrate Marie’s creative energy and her sustainable approach into our products as well.”

The limited capsule collection and the sustainable acoustic objects can be admired exclusively from April 8, 2024, at the Munich department store Lodenfrey and at www.cambio.de.
